The Dying Light: Spotlight Edition Will Cost You Millions, Get The Details

Techland and GAME have a ridiculous promotion going on right now for Dying Light: The Following. Over on the U.K., based gaming retailer's web page, there's a listing for Dying Light: The Following – The Spotlight Edition. It will cost you $10 million.

Destructoid did a quick write-up on the new promotion from GAME, highlighting some of the features of this $10 million investment for the open-world, zombie-survival game. There's a promo image showing everything that the expensive Spotlight Edition contains that you can check out below.

Spending $10 million on this special edition of Techland's Dying Light will net you professional acting lessons from Roger Craig Smith, a sporting role in the Dying Light: The Movie that includes a speaking role and an action scene. There's a personal trailer on the set with luxury amenities along with parkour training, which can also be swapped out for a stunt double. There's an off-road driving course and you get to keep the car that's used for the course.

The special features don't end there, though. It also includes an FX make-up session that turns you into a zombie (which probably means your supporting role would be as a zombie who says a few lines, does a little bit of parkour and then... dies?), an opportunity to voice the lead protagonist Kyle Crane in a “Special Edition” of Dying Light, along with four copies of the Enhanced Edition of the game for those late night four-player cooperative sessions. There's also the inclusion of the original script signed by the cast, along with 10 VIP tickets to film's opening night.

To top it all off there's a screening tour with first class accommodations for the promotion of the Dying Light movie. Pretty snazzy, eh?

It's a pretty good way to make headlines even though I doubt anyone would really be willing to spend $10 million on this special edition. To be honest, that's actually enough money to finance a low-budget Dying Light film... in fact, if two people paid for this Spotlight Edition it would be enough to get the movie made and distributed, likely by a film studio like Lionsgate Entertainment.

But back in the world of reality, the only thing this is good for is reminding a lot of gamers that Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition is out and available for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

The new version of the game features things like dune buggies that allow you travel the world in a vehicle. And speaking of the world, the map in Dying Light: The Following is twice as large as the city map in the original game. It's filled with new weapons, various zombies to beat, smash, cleave and slice into pieces, along with brand new upgrades and abilities.

The Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition is available now but if you want to learn more about the GAME exclusive $10 million Spotlight Edition, feel free to check it out over on the GAME website.
