Fast And Furious Cars Are Coming To Forza 7

If you've been enjoying the long-running yet over-the-top Fast and Furious movies but you also can't stop thinking about those oh-so-sexy cars, you'll probably be pleased to know that Turn 10 and Microsoft managed to strike a deal and feature some of those customized mean machines from the popular movie series in the upcoming release of Forza Motorsport 7.

The news rolled out recently via a trailer over on the official Xbox YouTube channel, where it was announced that Microsoft managed to strike an exclusive deal with Universal for the rights to use the Fate of the Furious cars in the newest racing sim, _Forza Motorsport 7. _

The trailer outlines the 10 different vehicles that will be available in Forza Motorsport 7 from the Fate of the Furious movie. The trailer takes place in full 4K resolution, giving gamers a rare glimpse at just how clean and smooth the gameplay will be in the upcoming high-end racer for both the Xbox One and Windows 10 platforms.

The car pack includes the following "hero" vehicles from the blockbuster action-adventure series.

• 1966 Chevrolet Corvette

• 1968 Dodge Charger

• 2015 Jaguar F-Type R Coupe

• 1971 Plymouth GTX

• 2016 Subaru WRX STI

• 2018 Dodge Demon

• 1951 Chevrolet Fleetline Special

• 2015 Mercedes-AMG GT S

• 2013 Subaru BRZ

• 2014 Local Motors Rally Fighter

Microsoft knew exactly what it was doing by announcing the car pack ahead of the release of Forza Motorsport 7. A bunch of gamers in the comment section absolutely cannot wait to get their hands on the cars.

However, unlike the free edition that was made available for Forza Horizon, the Fate of the Furious car pack is not free. You can get it one of three ways: First, you can purchase the Forza 7 Deluxe Edition and receive the 10 cars as part of the package. Alternatively, you can purchase the Forza 7 Ultimate Edition and also receive the pack. The last option is to purchase the Fate of the Furious pack from the Microsoft Store for only $9.99.

The cars are a lot more souped up than the normal offerings featured in the game. You can see that there are a ton of tricked out elements to each of the cars.

I do wonder if some of the parts and aftermarket upgrades on the cars in the pack will also be available as customizable parts for the player's own acquired cars? It would be pretty cool to be able to strip down some of the cars or to add some of the aftermarket bodykits available from the Fast and Furious rides.

Either way, gamers will be able to ride some of those high-end rides when Forza 7 launches. For those who pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition of the game, it will be available three days earlier than the official launch on October 3rd, enabling gamers to get in some game time starting September 29th.
