Remember when your parents would scold you for playing too many videogames and that you should go outside and get some fresh air? That maybe it’s time to hang up the controllers and pick up a football? Or maybe get a job? Well, even you’ve done all of the above, Electronic Arts wants you to get back in the non-swing of things and rekindle your childhood love of doing jack shit without a care in the world by releasing their latest expansion pack for The Sims 2 titled The Sims 2: Free Time. Before you check the date over there in the corner of the screen, let me just state that no, this is no an early April Fool’s joke.
Scheduled for release on February 26th, Free Time will allow gamers to enjoy such skull-crushingly intense minigames such as: darts, reading books, repairing cars, flying remote-controlled airplanes, playing chess and of course, watching TV.
Rod Humble, head honcho over at the Sims 2 studio states that "Players of The Sims love to bring stories to life by exploring new and wonderful areas of their Sims' existence. Now with The Sims 2: Free Time, your Sims can explore a range of interests to discover new fun and appealing life options and diversions. Realizing these all-new talents adds depth, humor and appreciation for the moments that make life entertaining."
Free Time is rated T for Teen and will be the seventh expansion pack released for The Sims 2.
