Just A Game will be publishing the Unreal Engine 3 powered horror-survival title, Afterfall: Insanity for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC around the world sometime in 2011. The game takes place after World War III in 2032. Civilization has moved into the under-dwellings of society to escape the after-effects of the nuclear holocaust.

As stated in the press release…
As mysterious psychologist Adam, the player will be part of a team of medical scientists in charge of monitoring the fugitives’ mental stability. Humankind may have survived certain death aboveground, but their safe haven threatens to turn into a cursed prison.

Sounds intriguing…at least it’s not just another zombie-shooter like all those other zombie-shooter games. That’s not to say that I have something against zombie-shooter games…it’s just that we seem to have a heck of a lot of them roaming around out there.

Unlike other games out there, players won’t be playing the super-hero type but rather a more normal dude just trying to survive. It's more like a third-person, horror game that's entirely focused on progressive based survival. It definitely seems interesting and a nice follow-up to games like Dead Space.
