PC gaming isn't anywhere close to being dead, but a lot more people would get into if the price of entry wasn't so scary. For those people (and that includes me), Ryan Merck of up-and-coming gaming blog Game-Central.org has posted this guide on how to make a sub-$500, high-grade gaming PC.

This sort of thing is a Godsend for cheap dirtbags like myself, as I've always legitimately wanted to be able to play the best RTS games and experience the mod communities for Valve games. The article tells you part by part what you'll need to game on the cheap.
