The original Condemned redefined how gamers viewed the survival-horror genre. It wasn’t just another Silent Hill or a Resident Evil clone. Condemned: Criminal Minds was a hard-nosed, violent take on surviving a horrific and mysterious plot. And now Sega and Monolith Studios are going to do the impossible, they’re going to elevate, evolve and revolutionize a genre they already redefined.
The Condemned 2 is aimed to bring back the horrifying atmosphere and terrifying encounters that the original had set in stone with such blazing appetition. The environments are darker (as if the original wasn’t dark enough) and the enemies are much more direful. As you’ll see in the following screenshots the game isn’t just coming along nicely, it’s coming along in a bloody fantastic way. I’m also convinced that this may be one of the better looking games planned for release in 2008...for not only the PlayStation 3 but also for the Xbox 360, which can’t seem to get a game that looks any better than Gears of War.
Well, I’m not going meander too much on words and everything, because you did come here to see the screenshots. So without further ado, you can drop down below to take a peek at them or visit Sega’s Official Website for more info and media regarding the game.
