Need tips for playing Demon’s Souls? Well, even though the game isn’t out yet here in the good ‘ole US of A, Atlus has already let loose a good beginner’s guide as to what Demon Souls is about, how to create a character and what some of the basic gameplay elements will consist of.

The best way to describe Demon’s Souls is as an Atlus rendition of Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The game features a handful of different regions to be explored and various levels within each region to overcome. It’s one of those free-roaming RPGs with a massive scope and a storyline that seems to stretch on forever. That’s a good thing, though, as there aren’t many other games out there that rival the likes of the Elder Scrolls franchise, save for the critically deplorable Two Worlds.

The create a character function is quite in-depth, and the walkthrough doesn’t show all of its functions but just enough to ensure gamers that no one detail is left out of the function. Gamers can change just about every aspect of the character’s face and look before heading out to adventure.

Demon’s Souls also appears to contain near limitless options for equipping and customizing equipment. Heck, you don’t need me to explain all of it to you; it’s all viewable in the video below.

Demon’s Souls is due out exclusively for the PlayStation 3 in October. For more information be sure to visit the Official Website. For more gaming news, updates, info and insight, be sure to stay tuned in with Blend Games.
