Gearbox Software and 2K Games have concocted an interesting bonus for Borderlands Game of the Year Edition. Each copy will grant the owner membership to the Duke Nukem Forever First Access Club.

The DNF First Access Club will give members exclusive rewards, such as early access to the game's demo. It's unknown how long this exclusive access period will run. Also, no estimate is provided for the demo's release.

Borderlands GOTY includes the full co-op action RPG as well as all of its previously released DLC. The Xbox 360 and PS3 versions will cost $59.99 and the PC edition is $49.99. It's a good value if you've yet to play Borderlands. I wouldn't be surprised if a few current Borderlands owners traded in their standard edition just to get the demo and any DLC they missed. After all, there's a group of gamers who have been looking forward to DNF for the past decade.
