While some people aren’t entirely convinced on the half-a-million gun options, you certainly can’t knock the concept of racing through junk-punk world, blasting down creatures and bandits at every turn. The new trailer doesn’t show off a lot but it definitely gives gamers a sense of how the new art-style works and what the environments will be like.

Personally, I was really leery about Gearbox re-working the graphics because there’s always the fear that the game could be ruined in the process. However, based on the recent E3 trailer, it looks like Borderlands was graphically-transitioned without a hitch. Even more than that, the character animations and weapons still look pretty awesome (and that’s very important).

According to GameTrailers the game is due out on June 30th. We’ll keep you posted if the date stays consistent. Until then, you can check out the E3 trailer below. And remember to stay tuned in with Blend Games for further E3 coverage, news, updates, insight and info.
