The first English review of Final Fantasy XIII has hit the internet and it comes courtesy of Electronic Theatre. The team managed to get their hands on an early copy of the Japanese version of the game and put up a review of it on the site.

According to Electronic Theatre…
Final Fantasy XIII is a blockbuster in every sense, and upon its western release early next year is almost certain to earn itself that reputation as a system-seller.

That’s a small…very small excerpt from the very lengthy review of Final Fantasy XIII, with the team praising many of the game’s new enhancements, including the revamped battle and magic system. They even go so far as to say that the technical achievements of the game are “astounding”.

Final Fantasy XIII is due out in 2010 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. You can check out the English review of the game by visiting Electronic Theatre. For more information on FF XIII be sure to visit the Official Website.
