The PSP might be getting destroyed in sales by the DS but Sony's not giving up yet. They're bringing two popular PS3 exclusive series to the handheld: LittleBigPlanet and Motorstorm.

According to Joystiq, the PSP iteration of LittleBigPlanet will be produced "in conjunction with" Media Molecule, who created the original game for the PS3. Players will once again be able to create and share their own levels. It's set to be released in Fall 2009 and should come with a slew of exclusive content.

MotorStorm: Arctic Edge will also arrive this fall for the PSP and PS2. It brings the off-road racing series to Alaska, giving game journalists the opportunity to recycle Palin jokes in the coming months. To better traverse the snowy environments, players will have two vehicles: the Snowcat and the Snow Machine. Arctic Edge is being developed by Bigbig Studios, the folks behind Pursuit Force. The game will support multiplayer for up to eight players and feature online leaderboards. The very fake trailer is below.
