A new Japanese trailer for Hudson Entertainment's Lost in Shadow was released, but you don't need to understand Japanese to know what's going on. In fact, this is one of the few trailers that explicitly puts on display how the game is played using the Wii-mote.

The game itself is played using both the digital controls and the Wii-mote, with players controlling a shadow fairy with their Wii-mote to access certain items or help the protagonist get past specific objects. It works a lot like the star in Super Mario Galaxy.

For the first time in a long time we finally get to see how the platforming works in Lost in Shadow, as well as the melee combat. Not to be a party-pants-pooper but I’m still digging the XBLA title, Limbo a bit more than Lost in Shadow. Still, at least Hudson is approaching the genre with something original. You can check out the new trailer below or visit the Official Website to learn more about the game.
