Capcom let loose two new trailers for the upcoming Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for the Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. The two videos showcase the battle of attrition that players must deal with, as the bosses don't take hits easy and using the game's weighty mechanics means timing every attack and being very keen on the surrounding environment.

I've always loved Monster Hunter's combat mechanics because each and every weapon feels the way it looks. You can almost feel the actual weight after each swing and I absolutely love that. This was captured quite well in the recently released MMO, RaiderZ, and while RaiderZ is a good game, it's still no Monster Hunter. Check out the boss fights below.

Man, homeboy got his butt handed to him on a platinum platter in that video. If you think that's bad you should also check out the other boss fight on the next page. The monster Brachydios doesn't hold anything back and gives the player a real fight for his money. Classic boss combat right there.

If you're into real games that don't QTE-you through a short six-hour campaign with a plot and characters you could see through an L.A., fog a mile away with more hand-holding tutorials than a video package for building a particle acceleration oscillator, then Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is the game you should be keeping a close eye on.

Capcom's premier title for the Wii U will launch in March, 2013. Need more info? Feel free to visit the Official Website.
