Microsoft saved one of the best Xbox Live Arcade games for their Deal of the Week. Shadow Complex will be available at a discount starting tomorrow.

Ordinarily 1200 Microsoft Points ($15), Shadow will cost 800 MS Points ($10) until December 27th. The game is a 2.5D side-scroller that draws comparisons to Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and Super Metroid due to its RPG elements and exploration. It was developed by Chair Entertainment, the studio purchased by Epic Games earlier this year, and is powered by Epic's Unreal Engine 3.

While 800 MS points is an accepted price for XBLA games, a small segment of gamers are irked by a 1200 MS Point price tag. This discount should allow those frugal types to finally enjoy the game. According to our review, though, Shadow's well worth its original price.
