Snail Games has finally done it; after waiting ages for one of the most highly awaited MMOs this year, is actually going to be one of the most highly anticipated MMOs of next year. The company has confirmed that Age of Wushu will be launching on February 1st, 2013 in North America.

Beta testing will begin this November for the martial-arts based MMO, and gamers willing to part ways with cash ($9.99 to be exact) will be able to gain instant access to the closed beta. The payment is for the Elite Pre-Sale Package, which comes with exclusive in-game item bundles, bonuses and instant access to the beta(s).

According to David Baker, Director of Game Operations...
"Age of Wushu is easily one of the most innovative and wholly unique titles I have had the pleasure of working on," ... "I am truly thrilled to be part of the team bringing this digital representation of Chinese culture and lore to western audiences."

In other words, if you like all those cool Hong Kong fight sequences and string-fu battles across the land, sea and air, Age of Wushu will gratify that thirst for martial arts fantasy. The game offers up multiple fighting styles, various schools of martial arts where you can train and level up your character, and plenty of PvP action.

I've had nothing but positive things to say about Age of Wushu because it truly is one of the more unique and creatively-inclined MMOs coming out. Gamers have also waited way too long to get their hands on it.
