Sega released a new trailer for the upcoming Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, which is the standard go-kart racing game with a bit of a twist here and there. Well, one of those twists includes the fastest female race car driver, Danica Patrick, joining the character roster.

The game enables players to race across standard tracks, water tracks and space tracks, transforming from one vehicle type to the next on the fly. The new trailer showcases Danica's custom Hot Wheels sponsored Indy Car featuring six wheels and a whole lot of attitude.

The original game was a generic romp through some of Sega's most popular franchises. If you were looking for a different kind of multiplayer karting experience, the original All-Stars Racing wasn't a bad way to go. This newest game, however, seems to take the concept and expand on it three-fold with plenty of tracks, transformation types and power-ups to keep the action fresh. The best part is that this game finally has both split-screen and online modes.

You can look for Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transfomed to launch on December 11th for home consoles, PC and handhelds. For more information be sure to visit the Official Website.
