Kalypso Media released a new trailer for the upcoming re-release of the popular, tropical city-building, political game, Tropico 4 Gold. The Gold edition contains the previously released DLC, which will be available at retail for Xbox 360 and PC gamers.

The game will be arriving on November 13th at retail, and I have no idea if that's such a good idea considering that it's going to be competing with heavy hitters such as Halo 4, Need for Speed: Most Wanted and Call of Duty: Black Ops II.

You can check out the new trailer below.

I loved all those quotes indicating that it's the best city simulator and that they hope SimCity will live up to Tropico 4's status. Bold claim right there, eh? I don't think Haemimont has much to worry about, though. SimCity has the unfortunate inclusion of always-on DRM and trust me, we'll be making sure that stays at the forefront of coverage every time the name is mentioned.

As if it hasn't been repeated enough, you can look for the game on retail shelves for both Xbox 360 and PC starting November 13th. You can learn more about Tropico 4 Gold by visiting the Official Website.
