Beyonce Knowles and Tina Turner are slated to perform together at this year’s Grammy awards. According to, Knowles has been a longtime fan of Tina Turner. In 2005, she even paid homage to Turner, performing “Proud Mary” during a Kennedy Center Honors telecast.

Also to appear at this year’s Grammy awards are a number of other divas, including Alicia Keys, Aretha Franklin, Feist, Fergie, and Rihanna. The writers guild may have avowed to stay off strike for the evening, but production assistants will have their hands full dealing with something far worse than a silly strike—a roomful of women, claws out, ready to pounce. At least they tossed in a Foo Fighters performance with John Paul Jones to slightly balance all the estrogen out.
The Grammy awards air Sunday, February 10 on CBS.
