Most of us still have about two weeks to go before we can feast our eyes on the insane-looking The LEGO Movie, a multi-colored comedy from Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller. Journalists got their first look at the anticipated February release over the weekend at Legoland outside San Diego, tough. Our own Eric Eisenberg was on the ground covering all of the LEGO festivities, and will have plenty of exciting insights into the film as we get closer to the film’s release date.
That doesn’t mean that we’re coming to you empty-handed, LEGO fans. This morning, JoBlo shared eight new clips from The LEGO Movie, giving us a glut of fresh looks at the pending feature. Now, you might want to avoid these and go into The LEGO Movie cold. I totally get that. Though if Cloudy and 21 Jump Street taught us anything, it’s that Lord and Miller cram a TON of jokes into each frame, and so watching these teaser clips likely isn’t going to ruin the LEGO experience for you. I mean, after all, this movie has Batman, Superman and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles… in LEGO form? What more could you possibly want out of an action-packed family comedy?
Indulge in these LEGO clips, and line up for the movie when it drops on February 7.
