Among the many sights to see on the exhibition floor at Comic Con, we got a look at the set for one of next year's most geekily anticipated movies: The Avengers. Yes, the big Marvel movie won't be doing the traditional Hall H panel this year, but they promised to have a major presence in the exhibit hall, which tonight was revealed to be a replica of the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier, one of the major sets for the movie. According to our own Eric Eisenberg, our resident expert in all things Marvel, "It's the city-sized base of operations for S.H.I.EL.D. that floats in the sky." Yeah, what he said.

Take a look at the Helicarrier set below (click on each image to see it full size), and for all the other exciting sights of Preview Night, check out our giant photo gallery here.
