Between Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Mickey Rourke, Dolph Lundgren, Jet Li, Steve Austin, Eric Roberts, and Terry Crews, not to mention cameos by Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger, The Expendables is as jam packed with stars as a movie as a movie can be. It promises to be two hours of explosions, muscles, guns and blood. But did you know that there is actually a story? Well, there is, and Stallone has evidently become concerned about it to the point that he has begun to remove characters from the final cut.

Speaking with Australian website What's Playing, actor Liam Hemsworth, brother of Chris Hemsworth, who we will all know as Thor by next summer, revealed that his character has been let go from the film after Stallone realized he had made the whole thing too big with too many characters.

The most surprising thing about this story is that Stallone has actually spent more than a millisecond thinking about the plot of this film. This just in: nobody will give a shit. The most entertaining part of The Expendables, outside of the list above, will be the wait to see who shows up next from our favorite 80s action films. One thing is for certain though - when the film premieres and still doesn't have a cogent story line, nobody will be more disappointed than Mr. Hemsworth.
