It was just earlier today that we reported Jessica Alba's potential participation in the comedy First Wedding, Then Marriage, in which she'd star opposite Blythe Danner. Now Variety is reporting that Alba may also be part of the cast of Little Fockers, the third movie in the Meet the Parents series-- which also stars Blythe Danner.

Coincidence? Or did someone get their wires crossed to put Alba in the other movie? All Variety is saying is that Alba will play a "key role" in the comedy, which also brings back original cast members Ben Stiller, Teri Polo, Robert DeNiro and Owen Wilson. I'm guessing there has to be some kind of plot in which Stiller's character is tempted to stray, especially given the presence of kids in his life. But I'm way more interested to see if Alba and Danner are somehow going to become the new comedic duo, starring in two movies together in a row.
