We’ve just gotten our hands on a brand new trailer for Transformers: Dark of the Moon. If you’re heading out to see Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides this weekend, this is the one you’ll see in 3D before Captain Jack Sparrow’s new 3D adventure. But why wait, when you can watch it right here, right now?

Though this trailer is in format similar to the last one in which we got our first look at giant robots folding a building in half, it subtracts some Rosie Huntington-Whitely and adds new footage of giant, fighting, transforming robots instead. Good decision. Watch:

It’s worth noting that the “7.1.11” release date given for the film at the end is wrong. It’ll probably be wrong when you catch it in theaters too since it was only last night that Paramount announced they’re shifting the release date a few days earlier to June 29th. It’s alright, I don’t think you’ll have any trouble noticing when it’s in theaters. Expect to see billboards plastered along every inch of the highway on you way to work, as the real date draws close.

As for the trailer, I think this may be the best one so far. I love the shot of Optimus flying into the maw of that robotic worm… whatever that is. What did you think? Let me know in the comments below.
