New Princess And The Frog Billboards

My next drive into Manhattan just got much more enjoyable. Coming Soon posted two brand new billboards for Walt Disney Pictures’ The Princess and the Frog. These two images are far less lively than the poster released yesterday, but their vibrant colors will make for pleasurable billboard viewing.

The story is loosely based on the classic tale The Frog Prince. When a frog desperate to become human again plants a big wet one on a young girl named Tiana, the two must embark on a wild adventure through the bayous of Louisiana. Clearly, the young girl on the left of the first poster is Tiana holding the frog, Naveen. To her left is the priestess Mama Odie with her seeing-eye snake draped around her shoulders. The menacing looking guy on the right is the film’s baddie, the evil Dr. Facilier. Paradoxically, the character to Facilier’s right is Louis, the goofy trumpet playing alligator. The little guy hanging on to the bottom right side of the film’s title is Ray, a hopelessly romantic firefly.

The Princess and the Frog hits theater in New York and Los Angeles on November 25th and nationwide on December 11th.
