This time of the year is generally reserved to celebrate the greatest achievements in the film industry. The Golden Globes wrapped up a few weeks ago, the DGA awarded its top prize this past weekend and Anne Hathaway will unveil this year's Oscar nominees tomorrow. But for every good movie released throughout the year, there are at least five awful movies to match it, and it is in that department that the Razzie Awards shine.

Nominees for the 30th annual Razzie Awards have been released, and they casually remind us that there were some godawful films that came out in 2009. Leading the pack with seven nominations apiece are Brad Silberling's Land of the Lost, and, of course, the nearly universally despised Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, which they have playfully renamed Trannies, Too. Also in the hunt for Golden Raspberry shame are duds such as Old Dogs, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, All About Steve, and The Pink Panther 2.

There are certainly some films missing from the list (titles such as Whiteout, I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell and The Informers come to mind), but this ceremony is so tongue-in-cheek that it is hard to criticize any of it without expecting a "I am rubber, you are glue" defense. Check out the full list of nominees below, which also includes the special "worst of the decade" categories!
