Sleepless Night Exclusive Clip: The Fight In The Kitchen

One of the best action movies I saw at last year's Toronto International Film Festival-- and one of the best action movies of the year, period-- debuts today on may on-demand platforms, so you don't even have to go to the movies to see the glory of people punching each other. Described by many as "Die Hard in a nightclub," the French film takes amazing advantage of its labyrinthine settings, putting fight scenes in all kinds of unexpected locations as our hero seeks out his son who's been kidnapped by a ruthless drug lord in retaliation for a stash of drugs stolen by the cop himself.

If you want to see what we mean, check out the clip below, which brings the fight to a restaurant kitchen and may make you look at food preparation in an entirely new way. In this clip, our hero Vincent (Tomer Sisley) is wounded and beleaguered as he hunts down his son, but first he must fight off a corrupt Internal Affairs officer who wants the stolen drugs for himself. As Vincent grows more and more desperate, everything in the industrial kitchen becomes a weapon, and only one man can come out alive…
