There are thousands if not millions of reasons to absolutely love The Muppets, but one of the first that comes to mind is the music. Whether its because of the fun voices, the beautiful melodies, wonderful lyrics, or the intense nostalgia, songs like "Rainbow Connection" and "It's Not Easy Being Green" all own a large part of our collective souls. The new Muppet movie, due out on November 23, promises to deliver a whole new bunch of songs for audiences to bob their heads to and sing along with, but until then some of the biggest artists in the world have gathered together to create a series of covers called "The Green Album" and now you can listen to it for free online.

Hosted by NPR, the music stream has artists like OK-GO, Weezer, My Morning Jacket, The Fray, Amy Lee and Alkaline Trio, performing all of your favorites. I suspect that some of you won't be happy that it's packaged as one 37 minute track, but to those people I have this to say: It's The Muppets, it's free and it's awesome. Please kindly shut the hell up.

Check out the music below.

It should be noted that this isn't the first time Weezer has teamed up with The Muppets, as the Jim Henson creations were featured in the band's video for their song "Keep Fishin'." Check that out below.
