We were caught by surprise yesterday when on-set stills from the film Midnight in Paris popped online. Under normal circumstances this would be a humdrum affair, but the fact of the matter is that Woody Allen is hard at work in production of his 46th film before his 45th has arrived in theaters. Set to open on September 22, we've seen very little from Allen's You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger - until now.

Yahoo! has premiered the first domestic trailer for the film, and while it all looks fine and Woody-like, the voice-over narration is straight up miserable. While some people view narration as a crutch, it can be used to great effect in many films but the voice that Allen has chosen is so flat that it's hard to get through the one-and-a-half minute video. Here's hoping that one particular audio track gets left on the editing room floor before this movie ships out.
