Unlike the kids of the Harry Potter franchise, it’s becoming apparent that the actors in the Twilight series may have careers outside of playing vampires. Kristen Stewart turned in a great performance early this year in Adventureland and Robert Pattinson was apparently pretty good as Salvador Dali in Little Ashes. Now Edward’s sister is trying to get a piece of the pie as well.

According to Variety, Twilight’s Ashley Greene is in talks to star in The Apparition, Todd Lincoln’s ghost story about a young couple who are haunted after they release a spirit during a college experiment. The film is based on “true” events. Lincoln will write and direct.

This will be Todd Lincoln’s first project, so it’s hard to say what to expect from it, but haven’t there been enough horror films based on true events? We get it. Strange things happen in the world, and you think a film that over-exaggerates the supernatural aspects of the event is a better idea than figuring out the logical explanations for the incidents. Enjoy your ghosts!
