Steven Soderbergh, the man who would rather make a movie than take a vacation, has found a home for his new virus movie Contagion. Deadline Hollywood reports that Warner Bros. has picked up the film, which will star Matt Damon, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Winslet, Marion Cotillard and Jude Law.

That many stars for a $60 million budget is a steal, really, and the premise-- basically Outbreak for the new century-- sounds much more marketable than some of Soderbergh's other recent projects. Right now he's working on another action-heavy project, Knockout, and presumably Contagion will be right next on deck. Just as long as he doesn't wear himself out too much to handle the Liberace biopic, this all sounds great to me.
