Tia Carrere earned a lifetime's worth of fans in the Wayne's World movies, playing the bodacious Cassandra, a girl so dreamy she can be accompanied by "Dream Weaver." But will all those dudes who grew up crushing on her come out to see her hang ten?

Carrere, whose career has been fairly stop-and-start since the glory days of the early 90s, will star in and produce Wave Dancer, a biopic about Hawaiian surfer Rell Sunn, nicknamed "Queen of the Makaha." According to THR, Sunn was also an expert diver, a karate black belt, and a hula dancer. Carrere, who was born in Honolulu, has picked Martha Coolidge to direct the film.
