While the series may be over now that Shrek Forever After has been released, the folks over at Dreamworks aren't ready to let their cash cow die just yet. While the project has been in the works since Shrek 2, Puss In Boots, a spin-off featuring Antonio Banderas' character, is finally coming to fruition with the actors currently in-studio doing their voice-overs. Paired alongside Banderas in the film will be Salma Hayek playing the character of Kitty, who will presumably become a love interest. With the film still in production and not due out until November of next year, it's not shocking that we haven't seen anything from the film yet, but now they've decided to give us a glimpse.

Dreamworks has launched the film's homepage at www.pussinbootsthemovie.com, and while the main page features a close-up of Puss' face, clicking on "Read The Story" reveals Kitty as a black cat with white markings. The site also reveals that the story will follow Puss, Kitty and Humpty Dumpty (Zach Galifianakis) as they try and steal the goose that lays the golden egg.

Check out the first look at Kitty below and click the image to go to the site and view it full-size.
