It would seem that actor Kit Harrington just can't get enough of the fantasy genre. While the actor recently wrapped up the second season of the hit HBO show Game of Thrones, he's letting the genre take over his hiatus as well as he has been added to the expansive cast of How To Train Your Dragon 2.

According to Variety, Harrington will be providing the voice of a "villainous warrior" in the DreamWorks animated film, though the trade doesn't provide any more details about the character or how he fits into the story. The film is a follow-up to the massively successful first film from 2010 and will also feature the voices of Jay Baruchel, Gerard Butler, Craig Ferguson, America Ferrera, Jonah Hill, T.J. Miller, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Kristen Wiig, all of whom played characters in the original. Dean DeBlois is returning as both writer and director after serving similar duties alongside Chris Sanders on the first movie. Sanders isn't out of the loop entirely, however, as he is attached as an executive producer. No plot details have been revealed at this time, but it will continue the adventures of the young viking Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III and his dragon, Toothless.

Outside of Game of Thrones, in which the actor stars as Jon Snow, Harrington has also starred in Silent Hill: Revelation 3D, which will be arriving in theaters this fall. The project also stars Sean Bean, with whom Harrington worked on the HBO show. The actor is currently in production on the highly-anticipated young-adult adaptation The Seventh Son, based on the book series The Last Apprentice by Joseph Delaney.
