After making a splash at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival with his dramedy and directorial debut Happythankyoumoreplease, filmmaker and How I Met Your Mother star Josh Radnor returned to Park City, Utah at the start of this year with his sophomore effort, Liberal Arts. After earning critical praise, the movie was picked up for distribution for IFC Films, who will be releasing it on September 14th, and in preparation for the title's imminent arrival the studio has released the first trailer. Check it out below!

Watching the trailer, you may have noticed that Radnor isn't the only Sundance star who plays a part in the movie, as he has Elizabeth Olsen playing the female lead. The actress, who is the younger sister of Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, became an instant star last year when she earned acclaim and Oscar buzz for her work in the cult drama Martha, Marcy, May, Marlene and also surprised audiences with her leading role in the horror film Silent House. In addition to Liberal Arts, Olsen also recently starred in Rodrigo Cortes' Red Lights, which also debuted at this year's Sundance, and Bruce Beresford's Peace, Love & Misunderstanding, both of which came out earlier this year.

It's worth noting that our own Katey Rich saw the movie back in January and said that its better than Happythankyoumoreplease, but has problems that include undeveloped characters and dramatic parts that aren't compelling enough. You can hear her talk about the movie more HERE.
