Out in Hollywood, the film industry is buckling down for Sunday night’s Academy Awards, where voters will decide between Meryl Streep and Viola Davis, Jean Dujardin and George Clooney, The Artist and … well, every other film that came out in 2011. But we’re too distracted by these great videos to get too caught up in that nonsense just yet. Here we have kids re-enacting the Best Picture nominees, courtesy of Jest.com:

Kid George Clooney runs better than Regular George Clooney, but the rest of those clips are pretty much spot on, particularly The Help, and the young girl’s pride over serving a doo-doo pie. Ah, Academy. You made the right choices. And now Brad and Angelina can adopt all of those kid actors. Everyone’s happy.

The rest of the Oscar nominees – you know, the ones with the grown ups in them – will compete for Best Picture tonight when the Academy Awards happen in Los Angeles. Be sure to stay right here on CB for live-blogging, which will kick off around 7 p.m. ET and run through the entire telecast. And if you want to win your Oscar pool this year, copy Katey’s most recent Oscar picks, where she predicts that … well, don’t let me spoil it for you. Enjoy the show!
