As you can see above, it's a rather exciting time to be a Netflix member, especially if you're a movie fan. Original content like Cargo, in which Martin Freeman races against time to save his infant from a zombie virus, or Anon, in which Clive Owen has to deal with a reality that may or may not be overwritten under his nose, will be spread throughout the month's deployment. Not to mention, old favorites like The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Mamma Mia! are going to be added to the queue, should you want some lighthearted fun. But frankly, the most exciting addition on the list is Disney/Pixar's Academy Award winning Coco, which has impressed scores of fans in theaters, and will be available for your own home enjoyment by the end of the month.

But if you're more of a TV person, you're still covered, as network favorites such as the final season of Scandal, or the most current season of CW shows like Riverdale are going to be available throughout May, as well. Though Netflix's originals are set to make for some hefty competition as The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and Trollhunters both return for more fun, and we say goodbye to The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale, at least for now, as the season finale is set to bow on May 13th. Though at the very least you can take comfort in the fact that May has not one, but two episodes of My Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman.

May is going to be a busy month for Netflix, so it's probably a good idea that you keep this list bookmarked / on the fridge for handy reference. Though if you want to see a longer view of what's coming in 2018 and beyond, you can see a list of TV and Movie premieres that are set for the near future.
