Lady Gaga Keeps Giving The Same Answer On The Star Is Born Press Tour

Bradley Cooper's A Star Is Born has been in theaters for weeks now, heralding in his directing debut and making pop singer Lady Gaga a bonafide leading lady in the process. The duo of A-listers did a behemoth press tour ahead of the musical drama's release, helping to build up hype for the Oscar hopeful before it hit theaters. Press tours are long and exhausting, so sometimes actors are wont to repeat the same sound bites.

That exactly what happened when Lady Gaga did countless interviews for her role as Ally in A Star Is Born. She and Bradley Cooper clearly have a great working relationship, but she described it almost word for word to every outlet. Now someone has compiled these clips, and the results are hilarious. Check it out.

I don't know about you, but I'm never going to be able to look at a crowd of 100 people again. Just in case there's that one person who might support me.

This cute video, which comes to us from Twitter user Alfie Green, shows a total of 12 or so interview opportunities where Lady Gaga expressed how Bradley Cooper was the one person who believed in her. This likely comes from truth, considering how little experience in the film world the singer/songwriter had. Unfortunately, Gaga is famous enough that her army of fans are going to notice when Mother Monster repeats a story.

Since ascending to fame in the early 2000's, Lady Gaga has used her platform to communicate directly with the general public, despite her massive celebrity. As such, the public and her fans hang on every word, especially considering how well-spoken the singer turned actress is. This story is no exception, although it perhaps lost some power with every subsequent retelling.

In Lady Gaga's defense, memorizing sound bites isn't something unique to the A Star Is Born press tour. Part of actors' jobs is to promote their projects before they arrive in theaters, including countless 4 minutes interviews with journalists like yours truly. Plenty of stars go through media training in order to do interviews as well as Gaga, which includes repeating certain anecdotes from the set.

Regardless of how often Lady Gaga spoke to Bradley Cooper believing in her, you can't deny that its a captivating story. While Lady Gaga has star power to spare, she's only done a handful of acting projects since becoming a star. While she took home a Golden Globe for her lead role in American Horror Story: Hotel, not every director would be willing to give a starring movie role. Except Cooper, of course.

It should be interesting to see if Lady Gaga's press tour, as well as her acclaimed performance in A Star Is Born, result in the actress getting an Oscar nomination. She and Bradley Cooper likely have their eyes set on some noms, so we'll have to wait and see how Awards Season plays out.
