There was a time when a Netflix subscription gave fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe access to stream some of the best superhero movies that the enduring franchise has to offer. Now, every single installment of that particular shared universe of Marvel movies in order is only available to stream with a Disney+ subscription. However, that does not mean you cannot get your Marvel fix on Netflix.

Among the best movies on Netflix is a decent handful of Marvel movies that exist outside of the MCU – even though some of these characters, despite residing in different corners of the Marvel Multiverse, have crossed paths with each other. To follow them on their own solo adventures, stream the Marvel movies on Netflix at the moment, which we have compiled for you below.

The Amazing Spider-Man Movies (2012-2014)

First succeeding the role of Peter Parker from Tobey Maguire after he starred in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man movies was Andrew Garfield. The Academy Award nominee first put on the old red and blues in The Amazing Spider-Man and its sequel -- both of which are directed by a filmmaker whose last name alone qualifies him for the job: Marc Webb.

The films also starred Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy and some of the cinema's best Spidey villains yet, including Rhys Ifans as Lizard and Jamie Foxx as Electro. Even though the franchise was cancelled before it could become a trilogy, Garfield earned the redemption moment he deserved when he reprised the role in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse (2023)

To some fans, the greatest Spider-Man movie yet is 2018’s Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, which won an Oscar for Best Animated Feature. Thus, one of the most highly anticipated upcoming 2023 movies was its long awaited sequel, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.

The follow-up is a more explorative multiverse movie than its predecessor, in which Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) – struggling to balance crime fighting with his personal life – discovers that other webslingers like him have formed a cross-dimensional alliance, and he wants in. As those who have seen our upcoming superhero movies schedule should know, this is just the second chapter of a trilogy, so be sure to get yourself caught up with this acclaimed hit that dropped on Netflix on Halloween.
