While the Marvel Cinematic Universe has a number of projects in the works, one of the most highly anticipated projects is definitely Spider-Man: No Way Home. This is at least partly because the trailer hasn’t been released, despite the movie hitting theaters this December. Unfortunately an extremely low-res version made it online, with the studio quickly getting to work at scrubbing it from social media. And after Spider-Man 3’s leak, Tom Holland himself is hyping up the official release.

Fans have been patiently waiting for Spider-Man: No Way Home’s first trailer for months, resulting in countless fan theories. Sony even seemed to be having fun teasing the trailer’s arrival, although the bootleg version arriving online is sure to be a disappointment for those involved. Now Tom Holland has seemingly attempted to change the narrative, posting:

Tom Holland's Instagram post

Challenge accepted, Tom Holland. Because while he believes Marvel fans out there might not be ready for all the craziness that occurs in the first trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home, moviegoers can't wait to finally see what's coming for Peter Parker. This is especially true after the twist ending of Far From Home, as well as the fan theories circling the internet.

Tom Holland's cryptic post comes to us from the actor's personal Instagram account. Despite the notoriously tight security of the MCU, Spider-Man: No Way Home has been the subject of possible leaks, rumors, and lots of speculation. And through it all Holland has been guarding those secrets, while also helping to buoy anticipation for its release. We'll just have to wait and see when the trailer officially makes its way online.

With Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings hitting theaters on September 3rd, moviegoers assumed they'd be treated to the first trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home around then. But last night a poor recording made its way online, and quickly broke the internet in the process. Hopefully an official version will arrive sooner rather than later, allowing those who are spoiler-shy to enjoy all the excitement.

As previously mentioned, there have been countless rumors about the contents of Spider-Man: No Way Home throughout the course of its production and editing. The most popular is that the multiverse could come into play, with past Peter Parkers Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield reprising their roles. These theories started after Alfred Molina revealed he'd be in the new movie as Doc Ock, as well as the inclusion of Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange.

While Tom Holland was known for being one of Marvel's biggest blabbermouths during Phase Three, he's done a good job at keeping the secrets of Spider-Man: No Way Home. He's even gone so far as to deny those rumors about previous Spider-Man actors returning to the big screen. We'll just have to wait and see exactly what's true once the official trailer is released online.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is currently set to arrive in theaters on December 17th. In the meantime, check out the 2021 movie release dates to plan your next movie experience.
