New Trailer For The Greatest Movie Ever Sold Wants You To Sponsor It

With his new film POM Wonderful Presents: The Greatest Movie Ever Sold, documentarian Morgan Spurlock has managed to make a movie that throws the idea of product placement directly in the face of his advertisers as well as any other advertisers looking to get their logos in a motion picture. The Super Size Me director always finds a way to be snarky and sarcastic while still delivering his desired message and that seems to be the case here, based on the new trailer that debuted today at Yahoo! Movies. Spurlock somehow talks ad boards into sponsoring his movie, even selling the top line ad space to POM Wonderful for $1 million, which also earned them a spot on his suit when he began his press tour (and on his body in the poster released recently).

The Greatest Movie Ever Sold looks every bit as entertaining as his other films, and while they may not be as biting as a Michael Moore piece, Spurlock’s work is always worth watching. Scope out the trailer below and witness the first movie “about branding, advertising and product placement that is financed and made possible by brands, advertising and product placement.” For more on the movie you can also read the interview we conducted with Spurlock at the Sundance Film Festival, where the movie premiered.
