First Poster For The Lorax Features A Lot Of Mustache

Here's something we can be thankful for: at some point during the mid-aughts, somebody said, "Maybe we should stop trying to make live-action Dr. Seuss movies like The Cat In The Hat and How The Grinch Stole Christmas, and instead use 3D animation." The result was Horton Hears A Who, which, while not perfect, was exponentially better than the two disasters that preceded it. Now the second CGI animated Dr. Seuss movie, The Lorax, is just a few months away from release and today we have the movie's first poster.

Check out it out below or in high-res over on Yahoo!

Starring the voice-acting talents of Danny DeVito, Ed Helms, Rob Riggle, Zac Efron, Taylor Swift and Betty White, The Lorax tells the story of a small orange environmentalist who sees his forest start getting destroyed by a huge clothing manufacturer. The movie was directed by Chris Renaud (Despicable Me) and Kyle Balda based on a script by Ken Daurio (Hop, Despicable Me, Horton Hears a Who). The Lorax arrives in theaters on March 2, 2012 and for more info be sure to head over to our Blend Film Database.
