Boy, did I hate New Year's Eve. While you can read my full review HERE, the gist of it is that the new Garry Marshall film is a bloated mess filled with about 20,000 characters and storylines, all of which will bore you to tears. The truth, however, is that New Year's Eve's failure to be even remotely entertaining shouldn't be much of a surprise. It's just another entry in a long line of multi-narrative romantic comedies that have come around since 2003's Love Actually (the only movie in the subgenre that has been any good). Unfortunately these movies are all driven by star power and are always hits at the box office, meaning that they won't be stopping anytime soon. Hence why a day before Marshall's film gets ready to hit theaters we have a trailer for the next one.

Inspired by the best selling pregnancy book by Heidi Murkoff and Sharon Mazel, What To Expect When You're Expecting lines up a series of big names to tell interlocking stories about what it's like to be pregnant. The movie stars Anna Kendrick, Elizabeth Banks, Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez, Brooklyn Decker, Chase Crawford, Dennis Quad, Rodrigo Santoro, Joe Mangeniello, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Chris Rock, Tom Lennon, Mehgan Mullally and Rob Huebel. Directed by Kirk Jones (Nanny McPhee) and written by Shauna Cross, Heather Hach and Heidi Murkoff, the film is due to be delivered in theaters on May 11, 2012.
