That time of year is almost upon us. In just two weeks, geeks and nerds from around the world will be hopping in their cars and boarding planes to head out to southern California for the annual San Diego Comic-Con. As always, we expect that the event will be packed with all kinds of big announcements and sneak peeks, but what hasn’t been clear is precisely what is going to be on display. Today the roll-out of that information has begun.
So, what are the big film programs going down in the big rooms of San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday, July 24th? Read the samples from the official schedule below!

Going through the list of announcements, the big titles that stick out are Goosebumps, Pixels, The Giver and even Goonies 2… but there’s still a lot of mystery as well. We can probably expect a good look at Penguins (the Madagascar spin-off) and the new Rocky and Bullwinkle - both of which are due out later this year – but could we also possibly get a first look at projects like B.O.O.: Bureau of Otherworldly Operations and Kung Fu Panda 3.
What Paramount Pictures has in store for us is the other big unknown, but the options are perhaps a bit clearer. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles may use Comic-Con as just a little bit of a publicity push leading up to the movie’s release in August. The untitled Terminator reboot, which has been filming for the past few weeks, is another very likely possibility. The studio also has some other major franchise titles in the works, including G.I. Joe, Star Trek, Transformers and Mission: Impossible, but I’m not sure those new projects are far enough along to get time in Hall H.
