The Tomorrowland Trailer Finally Gives Fans A Reason To Be Excited

It was about three months ago that Disney first gave us a taste of what to expect with Brad Bird’s mysterious new feature Tomorrowland - and now they’re ready to preview some more of the film’s big moments. The Super Bowl trailer has landed online, and is now available for your viewing pleasure!

Disney started to pull back the curtain on Brad Bird’s Tomorrowland with this Super Bowl spot, giving us a small peek at the "futuristic" world at the heart of the sci-fi fantasy adventure… and yet, one that still held a lot of specific details close to the vest.

The bulk of this all-too-quick Super Bowl TV spot is the 10-second spot that the studio released earlier this week. It relies on George Clooney’s narration, talking about a place "where nothing is impossible." We get excellent shots of Clooney’s workshop, and quick sprints through the world of Tomorrowlanad. And thought there is a VERY quick shot of Hugh Laurie’s supposed villain, the clip ends with George asking us if we want to go… followed by a rocket ship blasting off.

While much of the plot details about Tomorrowland remain a closely-guarded mystery, the story centers on a young woman named Casey Newton (Britt Robertson) – who is about to find herself go on one hell of an adventure. She winds up meeting a former boy-genius inventor named Frank Walker (George Clooney), and together they head off on a mission to find a secret city that is said to exist somewhere in their collective memory. Hugh Laurie, Raffey Cassidy, Tim McGraw, Judy Greer, Kathryn Hahn, Keegan-Michael Key, and Thomas Robinson co-star in the movie, which is based on an original screenplay by Brad Bird and Damon Lindelof.
