It appears the two funny men will be reuniting once again in Tom McCarthy’s upcoming film The Cobbler, in which Adam Sandler will star as a shoe repairman who integrates himself into the lives of the people whose shoes he fixes. Also joining the cast is Dustin Hoffman.

Adam Sandler In Talks To Star In Tom McCarthy Drama The Cobbler

White the source doesn't say if McCarthy wrote the script for the film himself - as he has with all three of his previous directorial efforts - it's noted that the story centers on a shoe repair man (played by Sandler) who somehow has the metaphysical ability to experience lives through other people's eyes "for a certain period of time."
