We Are What We Are Unveils Interactive Photo And GIFs

Keep your cursor off of the photo and you’re looking at the very distressed Iris (Ambyr Childers) and Rose (Julia Garner) Parker. But when you slide the cursor over the image, headed to close out the window after saying, “Hey, I’ve already seen this picture,” you’ll find that a number of prompts pop up, inviting you to look at all of the pre-existing promo material, all linked from the same picture.

We Are What We Are Trailer Is A Delicious Bite Of A Slow-Burning Thriller

Regardless of how the final movie comes out, this trailer has completely won me over, delivering a moodiness that isn’t nearly as bleak as its Mexican counterpart. It resembles Park Chan-wook’s Stoker by way of Bill Paxton’s excellent 2001 thriller Frailty.

We Are What We Are Director Jim Mickle Takes Revenge Thriller Cold In July

Deadline reports Memento Films International and Backup Media are financing Mickle’s next project, an adaptation of Cold in July, the 1989 revenge thriller from Joe R. Lansdale, probably best known for writing the source material that gave the world the majesty of Don Coscarelli’s Bubba Ho-Tep.
