Disney’s classic, Cinderella is getting it’s first ever Blu-ray release on October 2. To celebrate the special release, the company is trying to make some dreams come true through a special design project with high end shoe fashionista Christian Louboutin, which has some very exclusive shoes in the works for a few lucky ladies
We first reported Louboutin was creating the slippers back in July, and now a partnership between the man, the mouse, and Glam Media is allowing one lucky woman to earn her own Cinderella night out and even her own glass (well, in this case, butterfly crystal and lace) shoe. This is going to be one hard contest to win, but one with a pretty splashy payoff.
All you need to qualify is a little imagination, an average sized foot, an over-18 birthdate, and a Facebook account. Oh yeah, and you have to be female. The shoe is going to run between a 7 and an 8, and the daintiness of the size pretty well explains that one, but I’m sure it’s still a bummer for some fabulous trendsetters out there. Here’s what you do: anytime between right now and midnight on September 11, 2012 you can snap a picture of the closest-to-Cinderella costume and upload it to the Cinderella Facebook page. At least they didn’t relegate the contest to blondes only, am I right?
If you win, you get the shoes, as well as a date in Disneyland complete with a princess makeover. There were only twenty pairs of the shoes commissioned in total, so if you do win the final prize, you will be a lucky lady, indeed. Good luck!
