John Stamos recently introduced the Tanner family to his own son, Billy Stamos. Although the television actor is well-known for playing Uncle Jesse on Full House, he hasn't had any children of his own until now. As a proud daddy, John Stamos wanted to mix work and his home life in the best way possible: by bringing his own little bundle of joy to meet his co-stars on Netflix's Fuller House. As the social media post highlights, Bob Saget and Lori Loughlin, who plays John Stamos' wife on the sitcom, were finally able to meet little Billy. It's a cute photo, and it's clear that John Stamos is a very happy daddy. Indeed, the eldest Stamos hasn't been shy about voicing his affections towards having his first child at 54, and while some people might be closer to becoming grandparents than parents around that age, John Stamos is overcome with joy about finally enjoying the splendors of fatherhood for the very first time -- in real life, at least.
It was only three weeks ago when Billy Stamos entered this world. The actor named the child after his own father in a loving tribute to the belated man. The mother is model Caitlin McHugh, whom John Stamos married only a few months prior. The couple got engaged at Disneyland, and John Stamos is clearly over-the-top about his own recent turn into fatherhood. On the red carpet for the premiere of Benjamin, the newest film directed by Bob Saget, John Stamos had the following to say about both his wife and his soon-to-be born son.
I've waited my whole life for this. I just can't. I'm already so emotional and so excited... I've been dreaming about our baby. I mean, I am really excited... I don't know what I would do if I wasn't having a baby right now. Like, I've done everything anyone could ever... I've had the most beautiful blessed life on the planet, and the most honest real thing I could do I haven't done... [Caitlin is] so beautiful pregnant. She's so magical. She is the most graceful person I've ever met in my life, and she's handling pregnancy like a champ. Every day I say, 'You're doing so great, you're doing so great.' Just every day I'm with her I just realize, first of all, how lucky I am, but what a special human she is. She's magical. She floats into a room. I've never heard her say a bad word about anybody.
