Eminem's Machine Gun Kelly Diss Track Is Breaking YouTube Records

Eminem "Fall" Music Video

Machine Gun Kelly isn't going to like the latest development in his budding feud with Eminem. The competing rap artists have found themselves on each other's bad sides, when they started dissing one another in both public settings and in their music. When Eminem threw shade at MGK in his studio album, the surprise release Kamikaze, the younger rap musician took it upon himself to release his own diss track, "Rap Devil," which was in reference to Eminem's popular single, "Rap God," which took aim at the aged musician attacking MGK for comments he made about his daughter years earlier. It took a bit of time, but Eminem retorted with his own diss track, "Killshot," which took aim at MGK for his personal attacks. Now, likely much to MGK's chagrin, "Killshot" is doing quite well on YouTube. The recently-released track has a bunch of people listening to Eminem talk smack on MGK.

As it was reported by Business Insider, Eminem's "Killshot" has reportedly the biggest debut in YouTube's history for a hip-hop single. That's not too shabby, one must admit. The comments came from the video-sharing company itself. As they reported, the rap song earned a reported record of 38.1 million views (or, you know, listens) in the first 24 hours. At this time, the video has 81 million views at the time of this reporting. It's only growing from here, as you can expect, particularly after this most recent accomplishment. If you missed it, here's the song and the video that's breaking records.

Before he released his diss track, Eminem talked about Machine Gun Kelly in an extended interview segment with Sway, which was also found on his YouTube page. As he admitted in this conversation, Em was hesitant about getting into a full-out feud with Machine Gun Kelly, because he didn't want to use his media influence to boost the up-and-coming musician's profile. But if he made Machine Gun Kelly famous (or more famous) by embarrassing him, then Eminem saw the potential in making a diss track about the musician -- which he did, ultimately. Here's what Eminem said in the interview.

The reason I dissed him is actually a lot more petty than that. The reason that I dissed him is because he got on -- first what he said 'I'm the greatest rapper alive since my favorite rapper banned me from Shade 45' or whatever he said, right? Like I'm trying to hinder his career. I don't give a fuck about your career. You think I actually fucking think about you? You know how many fucking rappers are better than you? You're not even in the fucking conversation.

Based on this recent string of events, the feud between Machine Gun Kelly and Eminem isn't going to die down anytime soon. But MGK hasn't yet responded to Eminem's musical takedown. Perhaps he's cooking up another diss track, or maybe he's simply accepting defeat? It's hard to know right now, but it's evident that Eminem's song has earned many more ears than MGK, and that's something that MGK probably doesn't appreciate. At all.
