It's never easy to travel when you are a high-standing member of British Royalty. While Meghan Markle has only been a member of the royal family for a limited amount of time, having entered the fold during the early months of summer through her well-televised Royal Wedding. She has, nevertheless, found no shortage of media attention and public interest. Sometimes, to a potentially dangerous extent -- as made apparent by a very recent trip to Fiji.
As seen in the media clip presented by Circa, Meghan Markle was recently visiting a Fiji market when she was heavily crowded by a large swath of people hoping to catch a glimpse of the newly-appointed Duchess of Sussex. Worried about her safety, extra security measures were taken, and the former Suits actress was escorted outside the premises, as she can be seen taken away from the people trying to meet her in the video found above.
There is an extra reason for concern when it comes to Meghan Markle's safety and well-being these days. It was only a week or so earlier when it was formally announced that Markle is pregnant. The child of Markle and Prince Harry is expected to arrive in the spring of 2019, and Markle and Harry are reported to be very excited about the baby news. Not much else is known about the baby at this time, but we should expect more information to come.
Even though Meghan Markle is currently with child, that hasn't impeded her travel plans alongside her new husband. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are still embarking on their worldwide tour, which explains their visit in the Fiji market, and there have been additional health concerns in the midst of their plans. Specifically, there have been some concerns raised by the Zika virus, which has been detected. If the virus is caught in a pregnant woman, it can cause birth deficiencies, including microcephaly. Precautions have been taken by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, though, as they travel on.
Since the Royal Wedding back in May, Meghan Markle has adjusted well into life inside the Kensington Palace-- although she has also received no shortage of trouble from her other family. Specifically, her father, Thomas Markle, and her half-sister, Samantha Markle, have stirred up stories with the media about the lack of attention they have both received from their sister since she became a high-standing member of British royalty. Both have made efforts to make amends and visit their relative in London, but as far as we know, neither of them have been particularly successful in seeing her.
Evidently, it's never a dull day in the life of Meghan Markle. And we'll be sure to keep you posted on the latest developments, particularly as the newest member of the Royal Family comes closer to arriving. We're certain that we'll hear a whole lot more about the baby as the delivery day draws closer.
